Kim Kardashian and comedian Pete Davidson have broken up according to a source familiar with their relationship has told CNN.

"They did break up this week amicably due to distance and schedules," the source claimed. The couple, who made Instagram's officially official in March,

and made their red carpet debut in May they have been romantically linked since the end of October 2021.

In the latest episode of their Hulu show, Kardashian opened up about having a conversation with Davidson as host of "Saturday Night Live" and developing a relationship with him.

"I did 'SNL,' and then when we kissed in the scene, it was just a vibe," Kardashian statedon on the program, pointing out that Davidson didn't attend the party after the show.

Then, she explained, she decided to follow the man. "I called the producer at 'SNL' and was like, 'Hey, do you have Pete's number?" she recalled.

"And they were like, 'Yeah.' I text him. I wasn't even thinking like, 'Oh my God, I'm gonna be in a relationship with him.'"

Davidson has left his long-running sketch comedy show close of the season last year after eight seasons.

Kardashian was legally unmarried by an Los Angeles court in March following a request several months earlier which her husband,

the musician Kanye West, was against. The couple that divorced were involved in a bitter divorce and have four children.
